Clayton Library Book Club. Adult discussion of “Tom Lake” by Ann Patchett, 6-8 p.m. Jan. 28. Next month’s book will be “Pineapple Street” by Jenny Jackson.

Homework Help. For elementary school students, 3:45-5:45 p.m. Wednesdays. Some assistance also available for sixth and seven graders. To make an appointment, either call or stop by the library. Drop-ins welcome on a space available basis.

Lapsit Storytime. For children aged 0-3, 11-11:15 a.m. Thursdays. Children must attend with caregiver.

Black History Month Seek and Find. Children can search for images of books by Black authors and illustrators throughout the month of February. Find them all to receive a prize. Complete an additional challenge on the back of the game sheet to win a second prize.

Teen Thursday – Using Generative AI for School Assignments (and not getting expelled). Students in 6th-12th grades can work on writing effective prompts for citing sources of credible information and developing better search terms and phrases for finding facts online, 4-5 p.m. Feb. 5.
