Off the Grid. Food trucks and music, 5-9 p.m. Thursdays starting April 3 at the lake by Pleasant Hill City Hall, 100 Gregory Lane. “Today’s Media – Fact or Fiction?” The Pleasant Hill-Martinez branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will host the League of Women Voters of Diablo Valley in a discussion of how to decipher, understand and manage media messages, 7 p.m. April 16, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 1601 Mary Dr., Pleasant Hill. Easter Celebration. Clayton Cleans Up. The day begins with doughnuts and coffee at 8 a.m. April 19. T-shirts will be available for the first 200 volunteers. Cleanup followed by a noon BBQ at City Hall sponsored by Republic Services. Community groups can also set up a table in the City Hall Courtyard to share their mission. Celebrate Día with Lotería. Celebrate Children’s Day, Book Day (Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros) all through April. Search the Children’s Area for Lotería images. Find them all to receive a prize.

Homework Help. For elementary school students, 3:45-5:45 p.m. Wednesdays. Some assistance also available for sixth and seven graders. To make an appointment, either call or stop by the library. Drop-ins welcome on a space available basis.
