CLAYTON, CA (May 17, 2024) — Clayton Pride proudly announces the return of the largest Pride parade in Contra Costa County, on Sunday June 2, 10:00 AM. The parade will once again march down Main Street in beautiful downtown Clayton.

This year’s theme is “Clayton marches with Pride, stands with love.” The event promises a showcase of LGBTQ+ Pride. It features a rich tapestry of participants from all walks of life.

Joining the festivities as keynote speaker, Congressman, Mark DeSaulnier, will share his thoughts on the importance of acceptance and advocacy.

Supported by a coalition of local residents, churches, and businesses, the parade features colorful floats, and captivating drag queens. Attendees will also enjoy musical performances by Brooke Halliday, Trisha Paulido, and internationally known vocalist, Arnold McCuller.

In the Grove Park, attendees will discover a wealth of information tables, offering insights on supporting the LGBTQ+ community in the East Bay as well as local student performances and games and activities for the kiddos.

At its core, Clayton Pride seeks to foster a city where all individuals thrive as healthy and equal members of society. Through advocacy, respect, and community-building initiatives, the organization strives to create a culturally rich environment for members and allies alike.

Organizers invite you to celebrate love, equality, inclusion, and Pride at the 3rd annual Clayton Pride Parade.
