Step back in time at Concord’s Sock Hop Dance fundraiser benefiting senior scholarship program
CONCORD , CA (Feb 5, 2025) – Get ready to rock around the clock at the Concord Senior Center’s Sock Hop Dance! This nostalgic fundraiser takes place on Saturday, March 15. It will transport attendees back to the fabulous 1950s for a night filled with music, dancing, and fun—all in support of the Senior Scholarship Program.
Dust off your poodle skirts and leather jackets and step onto the dance floor to groove to classic hits from the ‘50s. The evening will feature exciting dance-offs, delicious soda shop-inspired treats, and a mouthwatering dinner—all included with admission.
“This event is more than just a dance. It’s an opportunity for the community to come together, celebrate, and support our local seniors,” said Ally Pethebridge, Event Coordinator. “The funds raised will provide scholarships that help seniors participate in valuable programs and activities.”
Tickets cost $55 for Concord residents and $60 for non-residents. The limited space means that attendees should register by February 15 to secure their spot.
Don’t miss out on this chance to experience a night of nostalgia, laughter, and giving back. To purchase tickets or learn more, visit here or call 925-671-3318.
