Police in Concord recover stolen firearm after high-risk stop

CONCORD, CA (Jan. 8, 2024) — Responding to a felony vehicle alert, a Concord PD graveyard officer located the suspect’s vehicle near our downtown area. Following a high-risk stop, officers took the driver into custody.

During the arrest, officers uncovered a stolen, loaded firearm with extended magazines.
