Pleasant Hill Police arrest 10 in latest theft suppression operation

PLEASANT HILL, CA (August 30, 2024) — This week, Pleasant Hill Police conducted a theft suppression operation at the Crossroads Shopping Center.

During this operation, officers recovered approximately $1,800 in stolen merchandise. They made 10 arrests at Dicks Sporting Goods, Kohls and Marshalls. The arrested individuals include:

  • Donovan Robinson of Hercules
  • Malik Viewins of San Pablo
  • Ernesto Olivarez of Oxnard
  • Michael Peterson of Fairfield
  • Brittne BennettGraves of Fairfield
  • Ari Forney of Pleasant Hill
  • Amber Andish of Concord
  • Jesse Smith of Concord
  • Shan Raheel of Fairfield
  • Laszlo Graham of Concord

This is another example of a targeted operation by the Pleasant Hill PD. Other local agencies including Martinez PD, Walnut Creek PD, Oakley PD, Brentwood PD, and BART PD all had similar operations and extra patrols.

The Pleasant Hill Police Dept. is committed to combating theft and shoplifting in addition to their other duties. They plan to hold more events similar to this in the future. All of these investigations will be presented to the Contra Costa County District Attorney for review.
