Moonlight on the Mountain event needs volunteers this Saturday -

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (Sept. 8, 2022) — Organizers for Moonlight on the Mountain are looking for some help. The big annual fundraiser for Save Mount Diablo happens this Saturday, September 10, 2022.

Organizers currently have a huge need for SET-UP volunteers with shifts from 8-12pm or 11-4pm. However, the time slots are flexible and volunteers who can help anytime during that window with a minimum of 2 hours will be welcome. Volunteers will park at Monte Vista High School and take a shuttle bus to the event site at China Wall in Mount Diablo State Park.

Volunteer tasks include:

AUCTION & DINING TABLE SET-UP. Set up tables, tents, auction items, place settings. Please wear closed-toed shoes, hat and sunscreen. You should also bring water. Park at Monte Vista HS North Lot and take shuttle bus to event site. You should expect to work in full sun.
