Monument Crisis Center in Concord requesting emergency food donations

As of Wed. March 25, Monument Crisis Center in Concord has helped more than 900 households. The organization has distributed over 35,000 pounds of emergency food to feed more than 3,000 individuals.

MCC needs donations of all types of nonperishable food to keep up with the demand, created by the COVID-19 pandemic. They have scheduled 3 dates for drop-off collection at their Market Street location. Staff will be on hand to collect your donations on these dates:

• Monday, March 30, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
• Tuesday, March 31, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
• Friday, April 3, 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Emergency food will be distributed to families and individuals in need at these times as well.
