Meeting on Homelessness in Concord Set for July 28
CONCORD, CA (July 23, 2021) — The City of Concord invites members of the community to participate in the City’s Housing and Economic Development (HED) Council Committee meeting to share ideas related to issues of homelessness in Concord. The meeting takes place on Wednesday, July 28.
At the June 1 City Council meeting, the HED Committee was tasked with developing a process and approach to define appropriate next steps toward addressing the community’s concerns and priorities related to our unhoused residents.
The Council encourages members of the community and all interested parties to attend the meeting to share their thoughts and ideas. The full Council will consider the Committee’s recommendations at a future meeting.
If you prefer to submit written comments, please send them to CityClerk@cityofconcord.org and they will become public record. If you submit them prior to 3 p.m. on July 28, the city will publish them on the City’s website prior to the meeting.
You can attend the meeting at the Council Chamber, 1950 Parkside Drive, on July 28, beginning at 5:30 p.m. A Spanish language translator will be available. Please note, Council Committee meetings are not televised or recorded.
