Mark DeSaulnier holding town hall on mental health June 28

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (June 27, 2023) — Following a dramatic increase in reported rates of anxiety, depression, and substance abuse since the onset of the pandemic, Congressperson Mark DeSaulnier (CA-11) will host a town hall on mental health.

The online discussion takes place Wednesday, June 28 from 1- 2 p.m. DeSaulnier will discuss the state of mental health in this country with a focus on addiction, technology, and social media.

DeSaulnier said, “I am honored to be joined by special guest Dr. Anna Lembke, author of Dopamine Nation, psychiatrist, and professor of psychiatry at Stanford University, who will offer her expertise. Together, we will provide an update, share research, and answer your questions.”
