Letter to the Editor—MDUSD fundraiser for science programs surpasses goal -

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY—Our Board would like to thank The Pioneer very much for publishing the recent article about raising funds for science programs on Giving Tuesday. As you may know, we are a nonprofit foundation that raises money to fund enrichment for all MDUSD students. We successfully surpassed our goal (raising just under $11K) on Giving Tuesday and can commit to purchasing subscriptions for these programs. We will continue to solicit for donations, as the total cost for 2 years is roughly $70K. Thank you again, and feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or want to feature other programs that we are funding.
