Hope 100 Golf Marathon needs your help to reach fundraising goal by Oct. 23

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (Sept. 29, 2023) — Hope Hospice is about three weeks out from their 2023 Hope 100 Golf Marathon. They’ve received tremendous support so far, but still have a long way to go to reach a goal of raising $250,000 for Hope’s patient care needs and community programs.

The Hope 100 Golf Marathon happens Oct. 23, 2023, at Pleasanton’s Castlewood Country Club. As of Sept. 29, they have raised $139,690.

Hope Hospice shared a special video message from participant Scott Wall. Scott was an All-American distance runner on the renowned University of Oregon track team in the early 2000s.

Noticing that completing all holes of the Hope 100 Golf Marathon is traveling nearly a marathon’s distance—26 miles—Scott signed on not just to play the 100 holes but to actually run the course!
