Clayton Cleans Up 2020 April 18 event canceled
UPDATE: Due to uncertainties about how long the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order will remain in effect, the 2020 Clayton Cleans Up event has been canceled. We will send out an announcement as to when the next CCU will take place when we can.
Save the Date for Clayton Cleans Up 2020 on April 18 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Clayton City Hall Courtyard. Rain or shine, grab a volunteer shirt to wear and garbage bag to fill around town, then return to City Hall for a free barbecue celebration.
The annual Clean Up honors Clayton’s beauty and Earth Day. Local clubs and organizations will share earth-friendly ideas at the event for enjoying area trails, recycling, gardening and making do-it-yourself projects. Bring family, friends, neighbors and club members.
We have an exciting new designer for the CCU t-shirt this year, Lizzie Luna from Creekside Arts. All volunteers will get a free t-shirt for helping out.
The event is sponsored by The Pioneer and the city of Clayton with generous donations from Republic Services, CBCA, Travis Credit Union and Innovative Impressions. Clayton City Hall is at 6000 Heritage Trail, Clayton, CA.
