Free shred event and E-waste recycling in Clayton May 18

Travis Credit Union is hosting a free on-site shredding and e-waste recycling event in Clayton. Residents are invited to bring up to three boxes, or box equivalents, of personal and business documents to be professionally shredded as well as E-waste items like TVs, phones and computers.  Please bring your items to the Travis Credit Union Clayton Branch, 5441 Clayton Road, between 10 a.m. and 12 noon on May 18.

The following E-waste items will be accepted FREE OF CHARGE

• TV’s and CRT Monitors *
• Flat Screen / LCD Panels and Plasma Screens *
• Rear Projection TVs *
• Laptops *
• PC / CPUs
• Cell Phones, Smartphones
• Tablets and E-Readers
• Digital Cameras, Video Cameras, Projectors
• Printers, Scanners, Digital Adding Machines and Calculators
• Networking / Servers Equipment
• Mixed Electronic Waste (keyboards, mice, network cables, power cables, chargers, peripherals, digital clocks, etc.)
• Stereo Equipment, Radios, Tape and CD Players / Recorders, Phonographs
• Telephonic Equipment and Walkie-Talkies
• Small Home or Office Appliances (no refrigerators or air conditioners)
