CONCORD, CA (Nov. 16, 2024) — In honor of Homelessness Awareness Month, the Concord Library is hosting the 2nd Annual Unhoused Resource Fair.
If you are unhoused or if you know someone who is experiencing homelessness or if you are in need of assistance or just curious to learn more about the available resources and services in Contra Costa County please join us for the first Unhoused Resource Fair at the Concord Library. The event takes place Nov. 19, 12:30-3:30 p.m.
Partners for this event are the Contra Costa County Library, Contra Costa Health, CORE Homeless Outreach, Public Defenders Clean Slate, Do or Dye Hair Salon, and County Connection. There will be 25+ local organizations on site that focus on unhoused resources ready to talk about how they can help.
We hope to provide resources in the areas of health/medical, food, clothing, housing, crisis, mental health, legal aid, pet care, shelter information, and more. This is a pet friendly event so anyone that is unhoused or staying at a shelter can bring their pets. Free giveaways for all attendees.
