First day back at Todos Santos Plaza for Concord Farmers Market

CONCORD, CA—Farmers Market patrons showed up early in Todos Santos Plaza Tuesday morning as the Concord Market moved back downtown. The Pacific Coast Farmers Market Association had moved it to the Concord High School parking lot in April to help with social distancing.

As the temperatures moved higher, the lines got shorter, but many were happy to get their juicy peaches, fresh tomatoes, apples and all kinds of organic produce before it got too hot. Some people said they liked the convenience of the Concord High School location, but others were thrilled to have it return to downtown.

For now, the PCFMA plans to have the Concord Market in Todos Santos Plaza every Tuesday, 9 am to 2 pm, with the first hour dedicated for seniors (60+) and others that may be at a greater risk. Social distancing and facial coverings are required.
