CONCORD, CA (Dec. 7, 2024) — Last night’s annual Tree Lighting and Mayor’s Sing-Along pushed the holiday season into full swing in Todos Santos Plaza.

From horse-drawn carriage rides to a long line of families waiting to get that photo with Santa, the City of Concord event had all the trimmings to get even the grumpiest grinch into a better mood. Gift vendors lined the square to help with the holiday shopping while a tunnel of lights crossed the plaza.

Entertainment on the main stage included the Queen of All Saints Children’s Choir and Cheerleaders, Westwood Elementary Children’s Choir, D’ann’s Academy of Dance, and The 925 Band.

Children got a chance to see Peppermint and Ginger, a couple of reindeer, before they cheered on the lighting of park’s tree. The evening ended with a delightful burst of snowfall amid the final carols of the sing-along. Happy Holidays!
