Family-friendly mental health fair May 21 in Concord
CONCORD, CA (Apr. 25, 2022) — In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Contra Costa will hold a resource fair and fundraiser 9 a.m. to noon May 21 at Todos Santos Plaza, 2175 Willow Pass Road.
At the free NAMI in Motion Countywide Mental Health Awareness Resource Fair and Fundraiser, community partners will share information about county programs and how they support those impacted by mental illness.
The family-friendly event focuses on mental health awareness and stigma reduction. It will include a stroll for health, DJ, live music, dancing, snacks, awards, raffle prizes, interactive vendors and a kids’ fun zone with activities for children of all ages.
NAMI will also release doves for those who have lost loved ones living with mental illness.
