Council on Homelessness Seeking Input on Homeless Services Information Tools

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (April 1, 2023) — For 2023, the Equity Committee of the Council on Homelessness is focused on creating “accessible information, outreach, and educational materials to engage underserved and/or previously unreached communities in Contra Costa County so that people experiencing or at risk of homelessness have equitable access to housing resources and housing outcomes.”

To support this work, the Equity Committee has developed surveys for two groups:

• Amplifiers:people/agencies/groups who may have contact with people seeking homeless/housing services and can help share out materials/information
• People With Lived Experience: people who have a lived experience of homelessness

The surveys ask what people currently know about homeless services and what kinds of information and materials (communication tools) are needed about these kinds of services.
