CONCORD, CA (Oct. 22, 2024) — The 4th annual Contra Costa Halloween Con is this Sunday, Oct. 27, at the Hilton Concord Hotel in Concord with featured guests voice actor Jim Cummings and wrestling legend Jake “The Snake” Roberts.

The family-friendly Halloween comic com is open from 10 am to 4 pm with free parking at the Hilton. Kids 9 and under are free.

In honor of our 10th local comic con, general admission tickets are just $10. Kids nine and under and parking are free.

Iconic voice actor Cummings is the man of 600 voices in motion pictures, video games and television. Among his credits are Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Tassmanian Devil, Darkwing Duck, Hondo Ohnaka in Star Wars, Sonic the Hedgehog and so many more!

The other featured guest is wrestling legend Roberts. Menacing, intimidating and totally hypnotic in the ring, Jake “The Snake” was a superstar capable of taking you down physically as well as psychologically. Slithering to the ring with a monstrous python concealed in a burlap sack, Jake used fear as a weapon as deftly as he used pain. His DDT finishing move is still one of the most brutal finishers ever unleashed on a Superstar.

And Jake’s wife Cheryl, who was at the center of the famous WWE feud between Jake the Snake and Rick Rude, will be at Contra Costa Halloween Con as well.

Star Wars’ David Gonzalez (Ak-Rev–Jabba the Hutt’s drum master in Return of the Jedi). The talented musician is always a Contra Costa Con favorite.
