Contra Costa County will host ‘Roadmap to Voting 2024’ Webinar, September 19

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (August 28, 2024) — Need information about how to prepare for the November 5 election? Join this Community Conversations webinar on Thursday, September 19 at 4 p.m.

The Contra Costa County Elections Office will showcase security measures to improve election integrity and community outreach. Sharon Stone, Membership and Technology Manager of the League of Women Voters of California, will introduce Vote411.org, a tool developed by the League to help voters become more informed about candidates and issues on the ballot.

Panelists will share their expertise on voting as well as explain the responsibilities of elected officials and how their offices impact you. Martha Goralka from the League of Women Voters of Diablo Valley will moderate the webinar.

Organizers will send information on how to access the Zoom webinar to your email address 24 hours before the program. They will collect and answer audience questions through the Q&A tab.

The Contra Costa County Library will provide closed captioning and simultaneous Spanish translation.  Organizers will record this program and upload to the Library’s YouTube channel after the event.
