Contra Costa County Library courtesy notices changing
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (Jan. 20, 2025) — Library courtesy notices have gotten a makeover.
Beginning in January, patrons will find changes to the account notification messages they receive from the Library.
Here is what you need to know.
- All notices will now include graphics and book covers when possible
- All subject lines will start with Contra Costa County Library
- There will be a due date reminder notice indicating your item’s due date
- You will receive an overdue notice if your item is past due
- Text message notifications will be discontinued. The Library is looking into alternative solutions for text notifications.
- You will still have the option to receive notifications via phone or email
- Print notices will no longer be available
- LINK+ notification messages will not change
