Contra Costa County fire crews find fully submerged vehicle in pond

PLEASANT HILL, CA (Feb. 27, 2024) — Contra Costa County Fire crews responded to an accident in Pleasant Hill on Tuesday afternoon.

On scene, units found a fully submerged vehicle in the center of a pond. Crews accessed the vehicle by aerial ladder and searched the vehicle for occupants.

The vehicle was determined to be clear and crews remained on scene to assist with removal of the vehicle from the pond.
