Concord’s Music and Market 2019 concert series closes with “Dark Side of the Moon”

Concord got to see a lot of great summer concerts in Todos Santos Plaza this year. The last of this year’s Music and Market series finished Thursday night with a laser light show and House of Floyd tribute band performing “Dark Side of the Moon” and other Pink Floyd songs.

A huge crowd filled the darkened plaza, enjoying food and drink from food booths at the Farmer’s Market and nearby restaurants. Lighted hula hoops and spinning kid’s toy lights flashed around the park while beams of laser lights punctuated guitar solos.

Several local musical performers warmed up the crowd before the sun set so that the main show could begin. This was the 4th year “Dark Side of the Moon” has come to Concord and we hope for a return next year, as well as another stellar lineup for Music and Market 2020. Thanks to FivePoint for sponsoring the concert, as well as the City of Concord, Pacific Coast Farmer’s Market and all the others who made this series possible.
