Concord Police holding bike rodeo Oct. 9
CONCORD, CA (Oct. 6, 2021) — The City of Concord’s Police Department will host a bike rodeo this week. They invite the community to attend the Oct. 9 event.
Pete Brandt, a professional BMX flatland rider, will show off his skills as the event’s featured guest. Brandt performs stunt shows and street performances when he’s not competing in professional events.
The bike rodeo will include:
- Skills course
- Helmet fitting
- Free bike repair
- Free dental supplies
- Master Barbers
You can also enter a raffle and win prizes at the rodeo. The Los Rancheros Taqueria food truck will be there, as well.
The bike rodeo begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Meadow Homes Park, 1351 Detroit Ave. in Concord. Masks will be required.
