Concord food distribution schedule for week of May 18

Concord organizations continue to distribute thousands of meals per week to those facing food insecurity. Here’s the schedule for distributions for the week of May 18 through 23.

Monument Crisis Center in Concord will have food available on:

Tuesday, May 19
9 a.m. to Noon
1990 Market Street
Concord, CA

MCC needs donations of all types of nonperishable food to keep up with the demand. Staff will be on hand during the same time to accept donations of perishable and non-perishable food. To donate without leaving home, text MCC to 41-444.

Several area churches have food donations to distribute.

KidFest Drive-Through Food Donation

Kidfest is holding a drive-through food donation day for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano.

Saturday, May 23, 10 a.m. – 12 noon
Mt. Diablo High School, 2450 Grant St., Concord

Wave to Olaf while dropping off food and financial donations. Each family donating gets 1 free admission ticket to KidFest 2021.
