Concord Art Assoc. to host free public art reception Saturday Nov. 16
CONCORD, CA (Nov. 12, 2024) — The Concord Art Association (CAA) in partnership with the Concord Visitor Center is hosting a free public art reception on Saturday, November 16 from 1-3 PM at 2151 Salvio St, suite T, Concord. Come meet some of the artists, view their work and enjoy light refreshments.
The Concord Visitor Center features a gallery where local CAA artists show a variety of 2-D work including paintings and photographs. The exhibits change quarterly and the art is available for purchase. The theme of the current exhibit is “Journey”, with many different interpretation by the artists.
Founded in 1963, Concord Art Association (CAA) is the oldest art association in Contra Costa County. Members include artists, crafters, makers, enthusiasts and supporters of the arts. As a 501c3 non-profit organization, CAA works to cultivate and enrich the creative lives of local artists and Concord area residents through exhibits, education, public art and community giving.
