Clayton Valley Garden Club hosting two plant sales in May
CLAYTON, CA – Clayton Valley Garden Club members are feeling rosy after getting approval from the city to hold their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 8, 2021.
The sale runs 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Endeavor Hall, 6008 Center St. in Clayton, said Linda Cruz, co-president and plant sale chair.
“We are also going to have a sale on a smaller scale at the Clayton Museum during the gardens tours, like we used to,” Cruz added, noting that proceeds from the May 14-15 sale will go toward signage for the museum educational garden.
The May 8 plant sale includes a wide variety of plants such as Abutilons, Hostas and Salvia. Also succulents, color bowls and a Garden Corner section with gently used gardening items. The Miracle of Monarch book will be for sale with free Asclepias Speciosa (milkweed) start to help bring back the Monarchs.
