CLAYTON, CA (August 27, 2023) — This report details police activity for the Clayton Police Department during the month of August, 2023.

Accidents

August 17 – Keller Ridge Dr./Raven Wy.  No Injuries.

August 17 – Clayton Rd./Washington Blvd.  No injuries.

August 18 – El Molino Dr./Salazar Ct.  No Injuries.

August 23 – Clayton Rd./Marsh Creek Rd.  No Injuries.

Arrests

August 3 – Kirker Pass Rd./Olive Dr. Receive Etc./Known Stolen Property.  A 38-year-old male transient was arrested after officers responded to a call for service.  He was released on his signed promise to appear.

August 4 – 5400 Clayton Rd.  Possess Stolen Vehicle; Take Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent/Vehicle Theft.  A 41-year-old Walnut Creek female was arrested after being contacted by officers.  She was transported to Martinez Detention Facility for booking.

August 11 – Buckeye Terrace.  Inflict Corporal Injury on Spouse/Cohabitant/Dating Relationship.  A 46-year-old Clayton male was arrested after officers responded to a call for service.  He was transported to Concord Police Department for booking.

August 19 – Clayton Rd./El Camino Dr.  Drive While License Suspended/Revoked for DUI.  A 70-year-old  Clayton female was arrested after being stopped for Vehicle Code Violations.  She was released on her signed promise to appear.

August 23 – Diablo Creek Pl.  Possess Narcotic Controlled Substance.   A 33-year-old Clayton male was arrested after officers responded to a call for service.  He was released on his signed promise to appear.

August 23 – 5400 Clayton Rd.  DUI: Alcohol/.08%.  A 32-year-old Clayton male was arrested after being stopped for Vehicle Code Violations.  He was transported to Concord Police Department for booking.
