CLAYTON, CA—The Clayton Historical Society is pleased to announce the reopening of the Joel Clayton House Museum 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22.

The museum will feature a dazzling new exhibit, “Buxworth in the High Peak in Delightful Derbyshire County.” It includes 12 photos of Buxworth donated by the village’s favorite art photographer, Mark Lomas, and the Association of Buxworth and Clayton.

Buxworth, the birthplace of our town founder Joel Clayton, has been twinned with Clayton since 1997.

Come discover the delights of the village of Buxworth and the county of Derbyshire and perhaps add a new “across the pond” destination to your “bucket list.”

The museum will be open 2-4 p.m. Sundays at 6101 Main St., Clayton, with COVID-19 protocols of mask requirements, temperature testing and social distancing.
