City of Concord Seeks Applicants for Boards, Commissions

CONCORD, CA—The Concord City Council seeks recruits for its committees, boards and commissions, including the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Board of Appeals, Concord Pavilion Community Outreach Committee, Design Review Board, Personnel Board and the Planning Commission.

Those interested should submit applications to the City Clerk’s Office by Friday, February 5, 2021, at 5:00 p.m.

The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee seeks three individuals willing to serve a four-year term ending February 28, 2025.

The Board of Appeals seeks two members and one alternate willing to serve a two-year term ending February 28, 2023, and three members and one alternate willing to serve a four-year term ending February 28, 2025.

The Concord Pavilion Community Outreach Committee seeks two members to serve a two-year term ending February 28, 2023, and two members willing to serve a four-year term ending February 28, 2025.

The Design Review Board seeks two design professionals willing to serve a four-year term ending February 28, 2025.

The Personnel Board seeks two members willing to serve a four-year term ending February 28, 2025.

The Planning Commission seeks three members willing to serve a four-year term ending February 28, 2025.

Board members are not compensated for their service on the Board and must operate under the CHF bylaws.
