Child in stolen vehicle found safely; Concord Police arrest report for Nov. 3-9
CONCORD, CA (November 12, 2021) – On Thursday, November 11, 2021, shortly after 10 PM, Concord Police Officers responded to the 5400 block of Ygnacio Valley Road on a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim’s four-month-old child was in the vehicle at the time it was stolen while parked in front of Wingstop. Within 30 minutes, Officers located the vehicle abandoned on Garaventa Drive.
The child was in the vehicle and unharmed. Neighboring agencies assisted in providing a K9 support as well as air support to search for the suspect. Although there was an extensive search, a suspect was not located. Medical professionals evaluated the uninjured child as a precaution. At this time, there is no description of the suspect.
