PLEASANT HILL, CA (June 17, 2024) — The Chief’s Advisory Panel is comprised of community members who live, work and/or attend school in Pleasant Hill. It serves as a resource for the police department in working with the community. It helps identify best practices, improve transparency and bolster engagement.

The panel meets together on a quarterly basis throughout the year. Members engage in discussion, assist with research, and provide feedback in the development of ideas and strategies. As an advisory body, the CAP does not have decision-making authority. It assists the Chief in understanding issues and concerns surrounding community/police relations from a broad spectrum of viewpoints.

Applications for new members of the Chief’s Advisory Panel will be accepted through June 30, 2024.
