Contra Costa Historical Society offers membership discount
MARTINEZ, CA (Mar. 10, 2025) — To celebrate the county’s 175th anniversary, the Contra Costa County Historical Society (CCCHS) is holding a 50% off membership drive through May 1.
The discount applies to the first 50 new members who enroll using code DRIVE25 at www.cocohistory.org or in person at the CCCHS History Center, 724 Escobar St., Martinez, California. The History Center is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on the first and third Saturdays of the month.
Membership benefits include the society’s quarterly newsletter, invitations to members-only events, a reprint of a circa 1890 Contra Costa map, eligibility to join the Chevron Federal Credit Union and a 10% bookstore discount.
Founded in 1951, the Contra Costa County Historical Society’s mission is to preserve, protect, and provide public access to the records and heritage of Contra Costa County.
