Claytonville BBQ, Roadside 22 planning special May menu
CLAYTON, CA (Mar. 4, 2025) — The town is ready to celebrate National BBQ Month this May, with Claytonville BBQ teaming up with Roadside 22 to present a mouthwatering event.
Clayton’s love for barbecue runs deep – from the July 4th hot dog roasts in the eucalyptus grove in the ’60s and ’70s to backyard BBQ contests at the Clayton Club and, more recently, the Clayton Business & Community Association’s two-day Kansas City Barbeque Society sanctioned festivals that drew BBQ lovers from across the Bay Area to Clayton. Now, this tradition continues with a fresh new event.
From noon to 8 p.m. on May 17, Roadside 22 in Clayton Station will serve up award-winning pork ribs and small-batch craft beers, including a limited special release.
Special guest Tony Ucciferri, recent “Judge of the Year,” will be onsite to share stories and sign copies of his autobiography, “The Road to 30: Becoming a Master BBQ Judge.”
Stay tuned for more details in the Pioneer. Be sure to secure your 10% off BBQ plates in advance at Claytonville-preorder – because once the ribs sell out, that’s it.
