Concord Police investigate shooting death on Oak Grove Road

CONCORD, CA (Dec. 13, 2024) — On December 10 at approximately 9 PM, the Concord Police Department Dispatch Center received several calls regarding multiple gunshots heard. A person was reported to be on the ground in the area of Oak Grove Rd. and Pear Dr.

Officers quickly arrived and found a 53-year-old male victim who had sustained several gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and are actively investigating the case.

At this time, there are no immediate public safety concerns. Concord PD have released no further information at this time.
