Prom Pop-Up for Teens at Concord Library gives formalwear a new purpose

CONCORD, CA (Jan. 28, 2024) — Prom season can be a pricey endeavor. At the Concord Library’s Pop-Up Prom Shop, formalwear for prom season will be offered for free to underserved teens in need.

Here’s How You Can Help:

Drop off your gently used dresses, suits, accessories, and other formalwear to the Concord Library (2900 Salvio St.) from now until March 20 during our regular Library open hours.

Items sought include:
• Gently used formal dresses, suits, shoes, accessories (bags, purses, jewelry, bowties, ties, etc.)
• Attire for her, him, or them needed

Clothing in all sizes will be accepted, and all donated items should be free of holes or stains.

Teens ages 13 -18 will be invited to find the perfect outfit for prom. Pop-Up Prom Shop event dates for spring 2024 will be announced soon. Check in with the Concord Library for updates.
