Clayton Homecoming parade — Community pride, school spirit takes to the streets
CLAYTON, CA (Oct. 13, 2023) — It’s Homecoming Week at CVCHS and the parade Thursday was an absolute blast.
After five long years, our Main Street came alive again with colorfully decorated pickups, high-spirited clubs, and a sea of excited faces. The energy was through the roof as the parade kicked off from Endeavor Hall, made the turn at the VFW flagpole, and danced its way down Main Street before the grand finale at Mt. Diablo Street.
Our amazing CVCHS clubs waved, cheered, and brought some serious pizzazz to the festivities. Parents, grandparents, neighbors, friends, and even random shoppers joined the fun, lining the streets to catch a glimpse of the action. It was a real community affair, and we loved every second of it.
But hey, the party isn’t over yet. There’s still the game ON, the Homecoming Royalty to crown, and a dazzling dance on Saturday night that promises to be the highlight of the week.
