City of Clayton Employee Spotlight on Jorge Gonzalez
CLAYTON, CA (Oct. 11, 2023) — Jorge Gonzalez was born in Los Angeles and raised in the Bay Area. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
He takes pride in his Mexican heritage as he is a first generation Mexican-American. His favorite hobbies are bowling and professional sporting events (Go Dodgers!) as well as concerts and movies.
Jorge has been working for the City of Clayton for 7 years in the position of Maintenance Worker I and handles graffiti, citywide trash disposition, and red curb striping. Within his position, he also handles “Drain to Bay” thermals, potholes, and mowing baseball fields at Clayton Community Park.
