Flourishing Learners put their reading into action

CLAYTON, CA (June 7, 2023) — Students from a Flourishing Learners tutoring class read the book “The Lemonade War” by Jacqueline Davies.

In celebration of finishing the book and their year together, the kids decided to host their own lemonade stand using the winning factors in the book:  Location, Advertising, Colorful Sign, Snacks.

The kids set up their stand at Center and Marsh Creek, the busiest corner in town, with big colorful signs, munchies and a whole lot of enthusiasm.
