Concord, Clayton and Pleasant Hill class of 2023 says farewell to high school
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (June 4, 2023) —Students at local high schools, well now former students, at many adorned with colorful leis and personalized caps and gowns, crossed the stage to receive their diplomas over the past few weeks.
Amid joyful cheers and fond farewells to favorite teachers and staff, the 2023 graduates wrapped up their high school education. To many it seemed like a milestone that would never come. The class of 2023 had to face challenges that no one anticipated when schools closed due to the pandemic. Few of them would likely tell you they enjoyed learning by Zoom.
Still, they did the work and it paid off. Graduates from Clayton Valley Charter, Concord High, Ygnacio Valley High, Olympic High, Mt. Diablo High, College Park, Crossroads High and many others now move on to college, careers or maybe even some deserved time off.
