CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA (May 28, 2023) — Pleasant Hill police have arrested two suspects in the April 3 shooting of Oscar Laredo-Arellano outside Farrington’s Bar. One suspect had fled to Mexico and was returned to the United States. They found the other in Nevada. Police believe there are no additional suspects in the death of the 37-year-old Concord man.

Drilling for disasters: The local Cal Disaster Airlift Response Team (CalDART) took part in a statewide exercise that included pilots, small airports and ham radio operators. Contra Costa executive director Steven Tucker says it’s all about “networking and building relationships.”
