Concord Library reopens after month-long closure for repairs
CONCORD, CA (Sept. 30, 2022) — The Concord library opened its doors again on Wednesday after nearly a month-long closure. While closed, they made much-needed repairs to the building’s roof.
With the library once again keeping regular hours, now is a great time to get your own library card. You’ll need to bring a photo ID with address verification to your local library. A full-service Library Card gives you access to great programs like LINK+, Kanopy Movies, and Discover & Go.
Residents of Contra Costa County are also eligible to apply online for an eCard. An eCard allows patrons immediate access to many of the Library’s online services and databases including Rosetta Stone, LinkedIn Learning, and The New York Times. It also allows patrons to place holds and borrow eBooks.
