Officers conducted an enforcement stop. Upon contacting the driver, the SET Officer noticed that the he was the suspect in a previous robbery incident where a firearm was discarded as the suspect fled the scene.
During a search of the vehicle, officers located two loaded firearms, ammunition and an extra magazine. They arrested all three occupants of the vehicle for several firearms related violations and forwarded the information to Major Crime Unit Detectives for follow up on the case.
The SET Team is comprised of a group of officers who are specifically dedicated to proactively seeking out violent offenders in our City in order to prevent violent crime from occurring.
