Amtrak train crashed into semi-truck near Brentwood
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA — East Contra Costa Fire Protection District has posted dramatic photos of a train crash near Brentwood yesterday. The train was on it’s way to Stockton.
The Amtrak San Joaquin train hit the truck just east of the Orwood Bridge around 9 a.m. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but a small fuel leak had to be cleaned.
ECCCFPD posted the photos to their social media accounts on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
No further details were available about the cause of the accident.
