Holly the elf returns to boost Concord businesses
CONCORD, CA—Holly, the Concord holiday elf, is back. This will be her second year visiting Concord businesses through the holiday season.
She landed at the Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce’s office in 2019 as a way for the chamber to support and promote a variety of Concord businesses. Amanda Campbell, administrative assistant at the chamber, came up with the idea after hosting an Elf on the Shelf for her son.
Holly will visit a variety of businesses in town. She will share her experience daily through Dec. 24 on the chamber’s social media platforms.
So far, the elf has picked up a festive coffee called “The Grinch” from Java Detour, shipped packages to her elf friends from UPS on Clayton Road and even kept up with her chiropractic appointment at the New Health Chiropractic Center.
Holly has also attended some virtual events. She joined local business representatives at the chamber’s First Friday Coffee, where chamber president/CEO Kevin Cabral provided an update on current events. On Dec. 5, Holly cozied up with hot cocoa to watch the city of Concord’s Holiday Special from her home.
Holly is here to safely spread holiday cheer while promoting businesses in Concord. She has been a great source of joy on social media and has brought our community together.
