Tuesday, Aug. 25, is the birthday of the U.S. National Park Service. 104 years ago, President Woodrow Wilson signed the Organic Act into law, creating the National Park Service. From its inception, the National Park Service has protected America’s most special places. We may not be able to visit them during the pandemic, but it’s comforting to know they are preserved for all to enjoy when things get back to normal.
