Concord food distribution schedule for week of June 29 to July 3

Concord organizations continue to distribute thousands of meals per week to those facing food insecurity. Here’s the schedule for distributions for the week of June 29 through July 3.

Monument Crisis Center in Concord will have food available on:

Tuesday, June 30
9 a.m. to Noon
1990 Market Street
Concord, CA

MCC needs donations of all types of nonperishable food to keep up with the demand. Staff will be on hand during the same time to accept donations of perishable and non-perishable food. To donate without leaving home, text MCC to 41-444.

Several area churches have food donations to distribute.

Clayton Valley Charter High School

CVCHS provides breakfast and lunch for all 7 days of the week, and families will be able to pick up food for multiple days at once. They will reassess the community’s need for meal pick-up for the month of July. New Summer Feeding Meal Pick Up Information at CVCHS:

Pick-up days are Tuesday and Thursday only, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
The pick-up location has moved to Lot 2 off the back of the kitchen.
