38th Annual Concord Mayor’s Cup Golf Classic coming May 19

CONCORD, CA (May 4, 2023) — Calling all golfers. Join Concord Mayor Laura Hoffmeister for the annual Mayor’s Cup golf tournament on Friday, May 19, at Concord’s own Diablo Creek Golf Course. Not only is it a fun day out on the course, the event also is a fundraiser for local nonprofits. This year, Mayor Hoffmeister selected the charities Concord Junior Giants, Concord Ambassadors, and the First Tee of Contra Costa Youth golf program for the event.

The event starts with registration and lunch at 11 a.m., and a shotgun start time of 12:30 p.m. It will conclude following dinner, a raffle and an awards presentation.

The entry fee is $150 per person, with a special rate $125 for seniors 60 & over and City employees. This fee includes a golf shirt, lunch, golf cart and green fee, awards dinner, and prizes.

This year the tournament has generously been sponsored by Mt. Diablo Resource Recovery and the Conco Companies.
