Just Trains model train store in Concord and the Clayton Historical Society held a raffle drawing in December to raise money for the Clayton Museum.

The drawing for the Bachmann BNSF ‘Rail Chief’ HO-Scale electric Train Set (a $245 value) – thanks to Jim Anthony, owner of Just Trains and from Steve Lane, CHS Director – was held on Sunday, Dec. 22. The lucky winner of the train set drawing was Julia Dawson Aguilar. After winning, Julia thought she might give the train set to a relative, but decided to keep it for herself, and set it up around her Christmas tree next year.

The train set drawing helped raise over $325 towards new signage for the CHS Museum’s Educational Garden.
